HN-YHTIÖT LTD CHANGES ITS NAME TO HERMANN'S FINLAND LTD

HN-Yhtiöt Ltd changes its name to Hermann's Finland Ltd on 1st February 2011. The change has been made to trade register. Company's VAT registry number and contact information will stay the same.

The goal with changing of the name is to achieve a well-defined format and to make good use of Hermann's well-known brand. The visual look will also be partly renewed and it will comply with Europlan group's look. Mrs. Pia Litokorpi has been named as Managing Director of Hermann's Finland Ltd starting on 1st March 2011. Europlan group's Financial Director Mr. Perttu Tuominen will be the Financial Director of Hermann's as well. Mr. Heikki Nieminen will continue as share holder and as will be a part of company's daily operations. His responsibilities include acquisition of new clients and sales of interior solutions to ship conversion and new building projects as well as to projects in construction business.

Europlan Engineering Ltd has acquired the majority of HN-Yhtiöt Ltd's shares with a sale made on 19th November 2010. Client responsibles will stay the same for the time being as well as the technical teams for each client. Projects and deliveries will continue without interruptions.

Europlan is participating to the biggest and most important shipbuilding exhibition in upcoming fall.

SMM 2010 exhibition will be held in Hamburg, Germany, on 7th – 10th September 2010. This year the theme of our stand is “Partnership” and we will have with us some of our key network companies.

 

Europlan Engineering Ltd hosted grand opening party of its new office on 11th December 2009. The new facilities in Kärsämäentie 23 include 1200 m² office spaces and a combined production and logistic center of 2300 m².

Mr. Jyrki Karihtala was appointed as Project Manager / Branch Manager in the beginning of October 2009. Mr. Karihtala will be responsible in promoting Europlan’s turnkey services for industry.

Europlan Engineering Ltd is taking part in FIMECC research project. FIMECC is Finnish Metals and Engineering Competence Cluster, is an innovation company which works to boost strategic research in metals and engineering industry.

Europlan is involved in Innovations & Network program, which is supported by Tekes. The program is divided in two parts; innovations and platform development, in which Europlan has a section.
